FRANCOISE MATHIEU

Françoise Mathieu, M.Ed., CCC., RP - Specialist in High-Stress Workplaces Françoise Mathieu is a sought-after speaker and educator in Canada, the U.S. and around the world.  With over 20 years of work in the field of mental health, she brings with her extensive experience as a crisis counselor, and nearly a decade of working with Health Canada’s CFMAP (Canadian Forces Member Assistance Program).  Françoise Co-Founded TEND and divides her time between public speaking engagements and working with organizations looking to train their teams about burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, high stress workplaces, self care and helper wellness.

Françoise is the author of The Compassion Fatigue Workbook, which was published by Routledge in 2012 as well as the author of several feature articles.

REVEREND DAVID ZELLMER, BISHOP

The Reverend David B. Zellmer was elected bishop of the South Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in 2007, after more that a quarter of a century of parish ministry across South Dakota. A graduate of Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota, Zellmer was ordained in 1981. He began his ministry in Aberdeen, South Dakota and earned a reputation for reaching out to the community as a whole, not just to Lutheran congregations and for his presence in both civic an religious arenas. Open to new ideas and always seeking multiple avenues to reach people, he has stepped outside the box of ministry.

CORY JEWELL JENSEN

Cory Jewell Jensen, M. S., is the senior trainer for CBI Consulting and she has spent the last 35 years providing evaluation and treatment services to adult sex offenders and their families in Portland, OR. She has published a number of articles related to sex offender treatment, risk management and child abuse prevention, testified as an expert witness in local and federal courts and been a featured guest on radio talk shows and the Oprah Winfrey Show.

CHAD RATIGAN

Chad Ratigan is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and was born and raised in Rapid City, SD. Chad graduated from Walden University with a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management and he currently works at the Oyate Health Center. In his spare time, Chad volunteers with child abuse prevention organizations and shares his journey through the system. When volunteering and speaking, Chad focuses on educating attending attendees on what children go through in through in foster care. He also provides personal insight into ICWA, attachment disorders, gives helpful hints on how to work with foster children, and he shares how he is breaking the cycle of abuse within his own family.
